We’re thrilled to welcome two powerhouse performers from LA—Annie Sertich and Mindy Sterling—for a series of dynamic, high-energy workshops designed for actors, improvisers, and writers of all levels. With decades of experience in improv, television, film, and commercial acting, Annie and Mindy will guide you through techniques that will elevate your confidence, spontaneity, and storytelling skills.

“Just write your own stuff!” Easier said than done, right?

In this jam-packed session, Annie Sertich will break down the process of writing for yourself—whether it’s sketch comedy, short films, web series, or solo shows.

As an actress, Annie has appeared in Silicon Valley, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, Shameless, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Office. She is also an alum of The Groundlings, where she performed and directed for over 15 years, collaborating with some of the biggest names in comedy.

As a writer, her credits include MTV, Nickelodeon, Disney, Paramount, Game Show Network, and currently the NBC Sports Division. Her critically acclaimed one-woman play, directed by Michaela Watkins (Casual, SNL, New Girl), has played to sold-out audiences in LA, New York, and Edinburgh.

In this workshop, Annie will guide you through:

✔ Finding your unique voice

✔ Exercises to spark ideas and keep writing

✔ Using improvisation to develop your scripts

✔ Understanding different formats: sketch, joke packets, short films, TV pilots, essays

✔ Identifying your blocks and blind spots in writing

Whether you’re looking to create your own material for performance, break into writing, or simply sharpen your storytelling skills, this session will give you the tools and confidence to start writing and keep going.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We are happy to offer full refunds on all standard 3hr workshops, provided we are given a full working 72hrs notice.
If only 24-72 hours notice is supplied a credit note will be issued, valid for 6 months and redeemable once.
A credit note or refund will not be issued for cancellations made inside 24hrs.

In the event we are forced to cancel a workshop, please note we cannot be held liable for any costs you might have incurred (travel/accomodation etc.)
